Amcom™ II Double Lock Chamber Communicator
The 2820A-4003 has the capability of 2-wire and/or Simulcom (4-wire) communication modes. 2-Wire and Simulcom (4-wire) modes can be used simultaneously. This enables the user to operate in a hands-free mode, using a headset and communicate between the chamber and operator without having to use the Push-To-Talk.
The Amcom II™ chamber communication system is a full feature hard wire, two lock communicator system. The Amcom II™ has independent volume controls (operator, inner lock, and outer lock), as well as separate on/off controls for each lock.
The Amcom Chamber Communication Systems are full-featured hard-wire, communication systems. The Amcom Model 2820A-4003 has independent volume controls (operator and lock) and can be used with a hand held microphone, which incorporates automatic talk back speaker cut out. This feature greatly reduces the amount of background noise, and under noisy conditions can make the difference between good or unacceptable sound and speech clarity.

Amron Chamber Communication Routing Panel
Controls communications for a DDC saturation diving system between Dive Control and saturation chamber. The operator is able to quickly identify the origin and routing of a signal and make simple interconnections throughout the system.
All signals are routed through Amron Helium Speech Unscramblers for voice correction. Routes audio entertainment signals to two channels, four sources, from AM/FM radios, tape players, television, or movie soundtracks.
Maximum capacity is a twelve man complex arranged as two six man chambers with two entry locks. May also be used for smaller chambers.
All system input/output interconnects rear panel MS type connectors (military standard). Like function cables are identical and interchangeable. This feature simplifies installation, maintenance, and repair parts.

Communication Routing Panel
The Model 3307 Is an economical communications routing panel supporting dry pot and wet pot work areas, two transfer locks, and two six-man living chambers.
The 3307 routes communications from helium unscramblers to occupants of the work areas, transfer locks, and living chambers. System capacity is four three- diver helium unscramblers, three for normal operation and the fourth for standby operations.
Each chamber contains a bunk box for each occupant and a chamber communications box. The system has "call enunciator" with audio and visual signaling. The LED illuminates the location and identifies the caller when a remote station calls.
Entertainment routing capacity is two channels with two sources per channel and includes stereo capabilty per channel source.
Entertainment connections are via phone jacks on the back panel of the unit. MS connectors are also located on the back panel and grouped according to there work areas, transfer locks, living chambers, and unscrambler. This facilitates an easy setup of the system, and provides the option of connecting up to two remote located operator control panels (Model3307RP).
